During his time in New York, Ford became a fixture at the legendary nightclub Studio 54, where he realized he was gay. The club's disco-era glamour would be a major influence on his later designs.

Looking hot at the AMA's from last night. Never heard of her before but loving her style. Apparently she is a bi-sexual rapper from Queens. Can't argue with that.

So when growing up to escape from reality she created characters and lived her life through them - sounds like a healthy enough coping mechanism to me. Hey we're all pretending to be someone we're not right? Her first was Cookie, second Harajuku Barbie and the latest incarnation is Nicki Minaj.

Fashion Week

So here a few pics from Fashion Week. My first reaction on getting there was god isn't this awful. You then walk into a show and the magic kicks in and all of a sudden you feel like something from the movies. It's a funny old world isn't it fashion. You hate it because it's exclusive but that's the exact reason you want in.

Vintage Night Out

So I've been really getting back into my vintage recently. My Ebay watch list is getting slightly out of control and I've discovered that being surrounded by vintage shops in the East is fantastic as you get your hands on those hard to find gems before anyone else however damaging to one's credit card. I am really excited to be wearing this little number next week to my boyfriend's DJ revival gig. He is trying to play it down of course and is refusing to make me a playlist of the set.
